We just finished Fruitport Old Fashioned Days, sans snow...During this blessed season three hundred and ten local kids in need, received Christmas presents, our community strongly supported the event with gifts, wrapping and delivery services. During Thanksgiving with continued community support, one hundred and forty one food baskets were delivered to families hurt by this dire economy. Nearly TEN THOUSAND food items were given to local food pantries and Teen Challenge. The Fruitport Lions Club is blessed to be part of such a wonderfully giving community. As the New Year dawns, planning for Fruitport Old Fashioned Days begins, we will keep you up to date as the events are formulated, please be patient…
